I’ve been struggling with chronic illness. I am highly motivated and actively seeking solutions with intelligent, thoughtful practitioners. I’ve been attempting to work with Lemire Clinic for 2-3 years, off and on, mostly off, since I’ve not found any benefit. At this office, it took five weeks to get a referral successfully sent. I’m still working on my second referral. They “sent it” and “sent it again”, but in truth, there is zero follow up, nor accountability, until the patient decides to spend the day on telephone and hassle everyone involved. The last nurse telehealth appt lasted 5 minutes and 14 seconds. That was the longest of my last few appts—discussing my decade-long chronic illness. I was given an out-of-pocket, take home test, but was given the wrong one in the office. Because I’m used to this type of thing, I got it settled before it got too far. I called on Thursday for an appt six times throughout day, crossing my fingers I could get a same-day telehealth appt for a timely issue, but no one picked up. I decided to leave a message Friday, and wait for a call back but they are closed on Friday, so I got a call back on Monday. I see that business are not expected to pick up their phones anymore, nor work five days a week, leaving even minor same day issues to a completely unknown Urgent Care or the ER. This is a “concierge” office. So you pay a monthly fee to have access to the doctor whether or not you use him. Otherwise, you see the NP. I actually considered paying the fee rather than seeing the NP, but the doctor is currently “out”. For months? Weeks? I have no idea. I hope he is ok. The NP is currently on vacation for a week; there is no backup at this office. Based on a blood test, the NP offered a solution to my chronic illness. When I explained I couldn’t tolerate two of the suggested treatments, she said “Oh ok, at least you know why you have this condition.” In fairness, she did offer a third option, but with about 30 seconds of explanation about the treatment. I might Google it: details, pros, cons, possible risks and reactions. And doctors wonder why patients love Google. Years ago I was given a referral for a chronic complaint. I believe it was by Dr Lemire. I set up the appt and attended. The specialist said “I can’t help you at all.” It wasn’t the right specialty apparently. I was confused and said this is where I was supposed to go, but he disagreed.

I’ve been a patient of Dr.Lemire for 15 years and I like his holistic approach to health and healing . I’ve learned a lot about natural products and prefer them to medications that I can’t handle. Once I learned to change my eating habits my body balanced itself . Everyone at the office is friendly and courteous .
