Beautiful park. Very quiet with 100% pull through sites. Very clean.

Great little campground. Not crowded at the end of September. The park has plenty of things to do for the whole family. Hiking, biking, lake sports, etc..Verizon coverage is minimal AT&T was better but not great. Full tree cover so can’t use Starlink. No sewer.

Good place for group events. Nice lake, a lot of trails. There is a nice camp ground.

Quiet clean place for a picnic.

They do but not yours
There are picnic areas for reservation only, if that's what you'd like to do in order to guarantee your spot. Otherwise, first come first serve at the public areas.
Yes, you can bring your own. Done it myself. You used to be able to get a license (maybe temp) from the rental stand. Due to COVID, they might have moved this to the front office.
May I like better
I don't know for sure but I think so. Alcohol is not permitted but I can't see why non alcoholic beer would be frowned on.
Yes but I don't think the campground is.
They have plenty of rv and camper sites with water and electric hookups. You should be just fine.
I believe Jesse is correct. However if a campsite is vacant more than likely they will allow you to get in earlier. They also are not extremely pushy about you getting out at exactly check out time unless there's somebody waiting on that site.
Nowhere. Just named Turkey Swamp. No Turkey, only park visitors.
No. Cannot fly drone on county public property
The rates just changed this year and are actually different between county ($38) and non county residents ($44). I don't think it changes between tent and camper because all sights have electric and water. Cabins are more expensive.
No. There is a water spigot outside of the cabin but no toilet or sink. The bathrooms are down the way from the cabins. It's probably a couple city blocks or a quarter mile... Because of chronic pain I drove
Your a solid hour from NYC by car Might be able to catch a train but that even longer and 20 minutes away.. RV are allowed I have seen big RVs I think they have water/electric and a dump station..... Dogs are ok with rabies cert.
Bluegill, catfish and largemouth.

No. There are playgrounds for children. It is family camping but I believe you must be over 18 to rent the site.

Yes but not a motor boat.you might have to register before you use the boat ramp?
Unfortunately no, only boating and fishing. Theres a lot of snapping turtles in the lake which wouldn't be fun.
Dial their number, wait until someone answers. Talk with a park ranger and find out availability. Book days that work for you.
They do have cabins for rent they have running water but it's outside of the cabin. Inside the cabin you have electric AC and also Heat. You can call up and ask for rental information I believe you can rent the cabin as soon as Turkey Swamp is open for camping
They no longer Allow ice skating at Turkey Swamp.
I don't know for sure, but I cant see a reason why you couldn't as long as you're not digging holes everywhere. Just don't infringe on someone else's site. I'd call the office as I have found them very helpful. If you're rv'ing and want to hookup to water, give them your site number and they'll tell you how much hose to bring too.
