Pictures are completed outdated. Definitely no wood like structured playground. I only been in the area for a few years, but guessing they rebuilt it to make room for the community center. Still a great park and my children want to go all the time vs my other near by surrounding parks.

I had high hopes for the new center, and foolishly purchased a membership. It is way too expensive. This place may as well be the Y in the city. The women's locker rooms are constantly disgusting. Large clumps of hair, used bandages, blood, and general dirt are everywhere. There are no changing spaces at all, and very small benches to set things on that accommodate maybe 3 people. You cannot set things on the floor since it is filthy and wet, so you cannot sit to change. The indoor pool has been getting scummier and dirtier each time I go. My feet slide at times. At 7am, no one else there, I came out of the water with someone else's used bandage stuck to me. Another time, there was no lifeguard but no signs the pool was closed. We saw no rules that said don't swim, so we got in. We later got scolded. I guess we're supposed to keep track of the employees for them?? The outdoor pool often has adults with beer in koozies floating around even though alcohol, and drinks in general, are prohibited in the pool. The basketball hoops in the pool create a dangerous and unpleasant environment with wild competition. The lifeguards chew their nails, talk to their friends, and stare off into space. I watched a swimmer save a toddler who jumped in (parents were ignoring him), and the three lifeguards that night saw none of it. The people who work the concessions look, talk, and act like they hate their lives. They eat while working and set their half-chewed food on the counters. I will not be renewing my membership.

Questions & Answers

How much is a pass for the outdoor pool for the summer season for non-residents- one 65 years old and one in their 50's ? When can such passes be purchased?

These passes can be purchased now. Truly I can not tell you exactly how much they'll cost because their prices change every year, but there is discount prices for elders, also they ha e to be present at the moment of the purchase because they will have to have a photo taken right there for the ID.
