Really nice place to be. One of my favorite areas to go for an adventure.!!!. It's the end of the Hiawatha trail. If you haven't been here. I highly recommend going! It's so beautiful here!

The trail was amazing and full of unique attributes. Highly recommend. If renting bikes, do a couple of laps around the parking lot before entering the tunnel. Much easier to do bike adjustments there than when you get into the tunnel.

Great bike ride for the whole family. It's a downhill ride through beautiful pine forests and over old train trestles. Don't forget your head light for the old train tunnels you will ride through. The longest is the first tunnel with a distance of 1.6miles and it's also cold.

Wow! What an experience for all ages and all skill levels. We started the Route of Hiawatha at the East Portal and rode to the Pearson Trailhead before taking the shuttle bus back to Roland Point and heading through the 1.6 mile St. Johns's Pass tunnel and heading home. We had recumbent bikes, a tandem bike, two bikes with kid trailers and 3 sizes of kids bikes with us. The trail was well maintained, the lights on the rentals bikes were perfect for the dark tunnels, the trestles and views were breath taking and the picnic pavilions at the end were perfect. A once in a lifetime experience for sure!
