J-Lucks sports bar & grill in Naugatuck truly blew me out of the water. First of all, I have been looking for a local spot, that played nice music, where I felt safe and where the vibe is right for any given Friday or Saturday night when I'm in town. I've tried to give some of the Waterbury local spots a chance but unfortunately unless it's daylight I cannot see myself going in any establishments at dark over there. Initially we went to another spot and I was truly disappointed, so I had one drink left and decided to go to J-Luck's as a first-time patron. As soon as I walked in the owner Jonathan Lucky was extremely hospitable and welcoming. The establishment had a good amount of people in there and the DJ was playing hits after hits. The kitchen was open late and even the cook was jamming behind the window. John was making his rounds throughout the bar and really made everyone seem like they were the only people in there. The place was clean and safe, and everyone was respectful just having a good time. It reminded me of back in the day when people would go out to just have fun and not start trouble. The patrons were all having just a great time. A very nice diverse crowd which I love to see, and the music was also diverse and perfect. I will definitely be going back to this establishment and continue to give support to local business of people I've seen glow up with the years. This is how you get and keep good regulars. This is what I look for when I go to a place. We will be back Jon super happy to see the business flourishing!

Great atmosphere, affordable drinks, and the BEST French fries!!

Service was good. The food was a bit dissapointing. Not terrible but burgers were a bit over cooked, the wings were soft, no crisp tonthem and the homemade fries, which I applaud the effort were not properly done, soft and oily. On the upside the beer was nice and cold and again the service was friendly and professional.
