Western beef has expensive vegetables compared to other markets in the area. Carrots at Western Beef are 99 cents each while a bunch of more orange carrots in another market are $1.96. Asparagus in a package are $7.00 and out of the package are $5.99. On Amazon a bunch are $4.99. The store also looks outdated. I have seen better times when the supermarket was run by the previous owner. Makes me think twice to come here only for necessities.

Nasty the groceries are not fresh at all. We just walk out one minute they tow our cars away. The stuff is expensive also

yes the college point location! I had to return lots of items it's terrible! I dont even shop there any more
There is a wide variety of produce but I don't know if any of it is organic or chemically sprayed or GMO. Hard to tell these days since GMO has invaded our choice to have real food. The signs in the store has the name and the price. I didn't see anything that said if the produce was indeed organic. The produce were a little cheaper, so I purchased a few of the produce. When I cooked them the cooked like real produce but I washed them with vinegar first, it is the only way I know to clean produce. Then rinsed and consume as normal.
No they got different types of people there they got some white they got some blacks it's not a racing story that you think you just have to go and apply it's not that hard
they closed the store. they are going to demolish and make a Chinese building
Best thing is to call them directly. They have not been active here nor should you expect them to be a few days from closing.
