The chicken and waffles was okay. The entrance area was not attractive. Floors not swept, tables not cleared, table sticky. So sad to say I can not recommend Shane's. Shame because I enjoyed my visit when they opened after the pandemic. Our host was wonderful. But there needs to be improvements here.

Would definitely not go back to this place! it's beyond me why this place has so many stars,i was so disappointed when i waked in because I came here to celebrate my sons birthday i might as well just styaed home and made him breakfast,the place is so old,and dark that i lost my appetite. The table was sticky and wobbly.there is absolutely no ambience to this place. Doesn't even look like a restaurant when u get in. The food was ok, nothing special! 1st and last time going there

The hospitality here is TRASH. Me and my family just left and it will be our last time patronizing this "black-owned" business. Imagine you bring 14 members of your family to enjoy a nice breakfast and out of nowhere, halfway thru your meal, they send SECURITY to watch over your tables. SECURITY---STANDING ACROSS THE ROOM---STARING!!!!STARING!!!. Who sends security to watch over a family trying to enjoy themselves......security detail for a family having breakfast smh. The food was mid, the servers screwed up our order, and they put their security on us. Yeah, so much for trying to patronize a black business.

Fried chicken and catfish both fried gorgeously 🔥 crispy outside yet soft and juicy on the inside. Can actually taste the meat - not just breading. The grits 😋
