The PA that took care of was fabulous. The billing department not so much. I ripped off my nail I don't have insurance and I understand a trip to the ER isn't inexpensive. $4800 for 3 stiches 45 min in a room is insane. I offered to pay $2000 today. Good luck with trying to get someone on the phone for financial assistance. That's not enough. Greed!! Ever wonder why you pay so much for insurance. We need to control the cost. Two and a half years ago 4 hours cost me $5200 I paid in full. How in the inflation did 45 mins cost and how can we let someone charge us that kind of money?? The only way I'll ever go back is on my deathbed against my will.

It’s the worst hospital in US, if I could I gave 0, due to not caring my mother correctly in emergency, her hip is broken. The nurses are so rude, the doctors are too young and don’t like to talk. The case managers, wanted to discharge the ones with serious sickness ASAP. The nurses instead of taking care of sick ones are rude, the doctors instead going to rooms and see the situation of sick ones, sitting in their rooms and working with computers, the case managers are worse than all. They wanted to discharge my mother with broken hip after two days. If I didn’t send my mother to emergency after fell down, now she didn’t have broken hip.

Hopital has a dedicated office for accounting you can call or walk in the even work on sundays 9 to 2pm ..........hi the hospital has a department. To call if you received a charge there is the number. If you can come to the hospital at the main entrance through the grotto, there is the office. You can come on Sunday mornings they attend

Of course, it's generally known as leaving against medical advice. They may yet to tell you insurance won't pay if you do that, but that's not true I've left AMA a few times
Go to an urgent care center like one of the AFC. They can generally do most of those shots
Im not exactly sure. I may be completely wrong, but usually there's separate buildings besides the main hospital where you take your kid if he or she has any health problems. Maybe they learn about diabetes or scoliosis or whatever problem they have at those said buildings. Apologizes if im wrong. 🤔
If he's still living then he needs to sign a release for you. Call the records department and they will tell you what they need but make sure you review them. They refused to give me the last 3 weeks of my sister's.
