We had our second bad breakfast at the diner on 10/1/22. It is apparent that they are short staffed, as our waitress was the only one working the part of the dining room we were in. She was very friendly and apologetic. It took 30 minutes for our breakfast to come out. We had dry burnt french toast two weeks ago and thought we’d give the diner a second chance. We received dry, crispy french toast again, accompanied by dry pancakes, and cold home fries. The dining room was very clean, However, the bathrooms were disgusting. I suspect they have hit a rough patch with staffing, but it’s clearly having a negative impact.

Just wanted coffee and dessert. Loved the beautiful old diner, homemade desserts, amazing coffee and lovely staff! Wish I lived closer, what a great place to meet over a cup of coffee! A gem in what seems like endless strip mall flotsam in Danbury!!

Can’t come back to a business where the manager/owner really argues with the customer when I was telling her that there was no bacon, no coleslaw and no pickle with the Gorgonzola burger I ordered that clearly says on the menu there is bacon on it! Absolutely terrible service and the burger was absolute trash , it was falling apart before I even put it on the bun, for $15 I could’ve gotten a better tasting burger at Burger King. And to top it off, she blamed it on the cook, who she claimed, forgot to add the coleslaw and pickle into the container because the burger I ordered doesn’t get “ordered often” which makes no sense because every sandwich/burger comes with coleslaw and pickle always ! So her stank attitude was probably the reason why she had no tables on a Friday night!

Nice friendly dinner..clean..beautiful...service.. excellent food..omelets great husband love it...French toast...great....A MUST STOP...
