Duke's Slickrock Campground & RV Park

The RV park is truly in the middle of nowhere, Hanksville, Utah. But "nowhere" is surrounded by many beautiful outdoor scenic areas, including spots that look like the surface of Mars, and slot canyons, and incredible Rock formations. The highway south out of town leads through many miles of red Rock formations that make Moab look less impressive. Other than the campground, and associated restaurant, there is an extensive outdoor art exhibit.

We stopped here for the showers and wasn't expecting much since this place is in the middle of nowhere but boy was I wrong. Great, friendly service and the cleanest and coziest bathrooms I've seen at a RV park. Showers was a very reasonable $5 per person. I Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We also had dinner at the restaurant next door and was blown away!

Stayed in the RV park with full hookups. Pads are gravel and level with very clean restrooms and laundry. UTV riding is is unbelievable with spectacular views in all directions. I'll be back here.

Cabin was more than we wanted to spend but worth it. Could not have been cleaner! Was very spacious. Perfect place to ride out a very intense storm. This is a great place to reset after being in the backcountry for a few days. Only request would be for a ceramic or glass container that could be used to boil water in the microwave.
