No towel holders, no place, to place your shampoo or soap while showering. No comfortable chair to sit in just a straight chair no arms. No extra toilet paper. This room is not made for anything but to sleep in. The bed was comfortable, is the only good thing I can say about this place.

Employees were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Safe and family friendly. Breakfast was great. Indoor pool and 2 indoor hot tubs with big windows and door to outdoor pool and outdoor hot tub. There was a lovely garden and sitting area by pool. Absolutely recommended.

Decided to take our daughter for a short jaunt just so she could swim. Really awesome restaurant attached to the hotel, rooms are nice and it's close to everything. The pet friendly aspect is nice and they have a nice dog area. Plus they have outside seating with fire tables and even grills if you want to cook. Will definitely come back here and I live about 15 minutes away

This place was amazing for this level of hotel. As part of a cross-country road trip, I've experienced many roadside hotels that are less than enjoyable, just a place to sleep and get coffee in the morning but this La Quinta in Joplin was a welcome change. I felt like the proprieters really cared about me, and they put a lot of effort into creating an enjoyable experience. To start, there are 2 pools and 2 hot tubs, indoor and outdoor; both hot tubs were great as was the indoor pool (it was too cold for the outdoor pool for me). The entire outdoor courtyard was beautiful - pretty landscaping, lounge areas, multiple outdoor firepits and music, plus a lot of open green space and pathways to walk your dog (which is so much better than the usual gross parking lot for dog walking that most hotels offer). Our room had a large window overlooking this expansive courtyard which was such a nice view. The hotel was also very clean. Room was average size. This hotel has a Old Chicago restaurant attached to it, easy walking distance which is great after all day on the road, and decent food. Breakfast was above average, and service was top notch. Definitely would return here.
