Absolutely beautiful! Large old growth Pine Trees cover the area and several species of wildlife can be seen. There is also a nice canoe/kayak launch ramp at the public access right down the road.

While I can't cite law, MO Dept of Conservation code, etc., I have often seen folks riding horses in and around the river near Horseshoe Bend.
