From start to finish the entire staff at Metro PT located in Rocky Point has been amazing. Nick one the lead therapists was dedicated and invested in my healing process. He and the aids explain every exercise and stretch, from why I was doing it, to how I was doing it. My program was well thought out with my input considered. The best Physical Therapy facility with the best staff. I have already recommended them to my friends and family. Thank You Nick and the entire Metro PT family for the great care!!!

I found the Rocky Point location to have significant safety and potential health hazards. There is a tendency to overbook the number of patients. This explains the crowding and lack of parking availability Both therapists (names withheld) made attempts to discourage offering aquatic therapy citing their personal preference to “work more on land “ A particular red flag is the manner the plate glass wall separating the pool area is used by patients to exercise. Patients are instructed to bear their weight using a towel to slide up and down the glass. The pool is not properly maintained and requires additional cleaning to remove the black flakes collecting in the creases of the liner. The practice of dropping “brown salt” Into the pool itself is unusual The Lack of water movement in the pool did not give the impression that Pump and filter are functional. Postings in the area require patients to use the shower before entering the pool. The shower did not work on my first visit but was fixed by my next visit after it was brought to the attention of the manager. Therapists need to act responsible to be present to assist patients while in the water as well as entering or leaving the pool this is standard operating procedure

I had an amazing experience here. Amy was my Physical therapist and she helped me with my TMJ pain. I'm very grateful I got to spend time here and get better!!

I highly recommend Metro Physical Therapy. Amy Rafuse is amazing!!! I had COVID and for months experienced severe vertigo. Doctors prescribed antibiotics, antihistamines & meclizine, nothing helped until I saw Amy. After our first session I felt incredible. She also worked with me on my balance & neck issues. Patrick my P/T Aide was wonderful too.
