We are pleased with the Guilford U-haul experience. We had to store our entire two-bedroom apartment for less than a month, therefore we chose two units of 10*10*8 size. Our units were on the second floor but the building had multiple furniture dollies that you can use in the elevator, so it was easy and fast. We chose this location because it was secure/ climate controlled/ accessible. Additional information: -staff was always nice -the building has electronic card access -we got the locks for both of our units free of charge -the times we visit our units, the building was always clean -the bathrooms were clean -loading and unloading zone was very convenient and easy to access

This review isn't specific to this location (where I rented a 26' truck from), but U-Haul in general and mainly the claims department. I rented a 26' truck to move and rented the furniture pads. I received one set of furniture pads that were brand new in the plastic wrap (didn't think anything of it at the time). The reminder were used. Turns out the new gray & black furniture pads with blue logos/lettering bleed. The blue, gray, and black bled onto my couch, mattress, a storage bench, and a rocker. I submitted a claim to U-Haul with the hopes that the situation would be rectified only for my claim to pretty much be denied. I was offered a small amount of money so I could clean the stains off (not going to happen). Also here is what I was told about my mattress. "The mattress is still completely usable as you cover the mattress with sheets and blankets." I am sure if I said "the truck still works even though I spray painted the entire side of it" they would've been ok. Complete joke of a company in regards to customer service/accountability.
