Location of hotel was great. I chose this hotel based off the lovely looking gardens and since I would have kids with me, I also chose for the pool. I prepaid online and upon check in hotel staff requested that I pay. When I said I had paid online already they then cancelled. Still paid the additional $40 deposit for incidentals. Not the worst thing in the world, but if someone prepays, why is it not noted in their system upon checking in? The room was adequate. Room smelled of carpet cleaner. Sheets, blanket and pillows were clean. I had an adjoining room, unfortunately. The person in the other room used his phone on speaker and was yelling into his phone from 3-5AM. I also could see light coming into our room from his room through the bottom of the door. Walls are extremely thin and you can hear everyone around us. Breakfast was not as advertised and was basically any generic continental breakfast so don’t rely on the photos. Photos are extremely misleading on their site. We checked in at 3pm and while walking to our room we saw garbage in the hallway. At 10am the next morning there was still the same garbage outside peoples doors in the hallway. Keys for the rooms had to be inserted many times for them to work. All in all, for the price I paid, I will not be coming back. There are superior hotels in the area within the same price range.

Rooms were dirty with odd stains on the carpet, walls were paper thin, and housekeeping didn't seem to respect privacy, trying to enter my room without knocking. I will say the front desk was very nice and super accommodating, but it wasn't enough to overcome the other issues. Ended up leaving after two nights.

Room was not as clean as I'd hope for. Used ear plugs were left on the night stand. Bed was too firm for me but the pillows were nice. The location was great and within walking distance of many restaurants and bars.

To sum up the experience properly, the staff were greedy and fraudulent. We originally booked a hotel directly next to Vivnt arena, low and behold they canceled our reservation we reserved three months in advance a few minutes after they were open for check-in. So as “compensation,” we got our reservation moved to Fairfield. Once we got to the hotel, what we did not know is that the room that was reserved to us, was immediately sold to another customer that had other issues. When it came time for us to check in, she charged us $310 for what we assumed would be two nights. We get a call mid day next morning complaining we haven’t moved anything out of our room and in order to extend our stay they wanted to charge an additional $250, stating the $310 was only for one night. Originally we were quoted $410 for a significantly better hotel that’s next to the arena. We get back to the hotel and the manager is completely on the defensive stating we’re in the wrong and there is nothing that she can do about refunding a room that was slept in and flat out refused any credit. After this we had to spend time with the original hotel, having them call the one we were staying at to honor their price. Never choosing a Marriott again after this.

Not the room I was in. It had a large shower. I don't know about the rest of the hotel.
