Tre Pizza Pasta Beer Garden

Last night we decided to go out for dinner. We chose Tre because the food is usually good and it’s convenient. We ordered our food and because we both have gluten sensitivities and are under doctor’s care, we simply asked if we can substitute the starch for a second vegetable. The waitress’ reply? Sorry the chef won’t let us make any substitutions but you can order a vegetable as an add-on. We looked at the side orders and it’s $9 for broccoli. No thanks we said. We were already paying more than $25 for each of our meals. So we ate and left, feeling disappointed. We decided that if the chef feels that strongly about not accommodating a dietary restriction, then unfortunately there are many other restaurants that will. In fact, we’ve never been denied a second veggie. Plenty of other fish in the sea…

Went there on a weekend, had a reservation for 10 ppl, and not sure why they put us right in front of the kitchen path/entrance which made it uncomfortable since we had waiters and staff trying to squeeze to get through. Regarding the food, I tried the rice balls which tastes like the ones you would get from a supermarket, nothing impressive; also tried their fried calamari, I can honestly said that I had better, and finally one of their specialty pizzas, it tasted good but the downside was that it came very soggy to a point that you would have to get a spoon to try to eat. And last but not least, the drinks: we order a couple peach roze sangrias and they were just bad! They tastes like water down pink wine.
