Wonderful experience dining in at this fabulous museum in the fabulous dining space overlooking central park. We'd reserved about a month ago and they got us the window table requested! Server RICKI made the experience complete and memorable!! ✔️✔️✔️😋😋🍷🍷

Good Restaurant. The 4 course menu is a good choice for US$75 + $30 for wine matching each course. The food is not incredible, but it is good, the service is amazing and the view is nice. Reserve prior hand.

I had the $55 prix fixe brunch and I think it was excellent: delicious, creative and beautiful, befitting the Met and a good value for the context. Service is pleasant and attentive. It is a formal dining room however - in no way stuffy or snooty, just not my style. I miss the airier, lighter, dotted-with sculpture Petrie Court (still around, but self service pre made food), which feels more of a piece with the museum's contents instead of elevated for the taste of wealthier donors (whom I appreciate!). Not a criticism, just painting the picture I perceive. (June 2019 review edited to fix a typo)

I can't tell you what was better, the food, the views, or the service - all top notch, very fitting for The Met. Reserve in advance, they close 1 hour before the museum does.
