Gave birth to my son here 3 years ago and was literally treated with disrespect and trash by the nurse that was suppose to be caring for me after I had my c section. The doctor mocked me too when she examined and put pressure on my abdomen. Don’t give birth here. They need to close this hospital down !

Sucks patient care. Never consistent status updates with staff. No confidence with practice always unsure. Staff does not communicate.

A woman that delivered her daughter in Winthrop she told me that she could only opt out of the hep b, not the vitamin k or the eye cream, cause otherwise they would have called the child services on her. She just asked them to delay giving these to her baby as much as they could. After they put the eye cream on her baby, she just tried to wipe it off as much as it was possible!
No one is ever turned down even if you don't have no insurance
2-8pm
You can also order your flowers from local florist and they'll deliver it to the hospital staff, once it gets they'll make sure it gets to your love ones. They are very good and swift.
Patients with sleep apnea require longer post operative / post anesthesia care. Its better to schedule at main OR with your surgeon.
Yes, it's free parking if you get the ticket validated by security.
There are no set visiting hours, but non family should be respectful and visit between 10 am and 8 pm. Family are allowed as long as the patient is comfortable and they are not interfering with other patients.
There is a parking garage ; veer left by the Emergency Dept area.
Contact the admitting office directly. 663-2525
Any transfer of service will require an accepting physician that is affiliated with Winthrop. If you go to the website (www.winthrop.org) and then look for the specialty you desire under "services" you will be able to find the number to call. It will be important to bring any previous paperwork with you to the first visit (office notes, lab tests, etc.)
