Had the timing chain cassettes start to go on my 2005 Ranger with the 4.0 v6 (common problem w/ that engine @ 160000 mi). Local shops couldn't get to it but was referred to Richardson in Standish. Glad I was! Kevin, the shop manager, oversees all the work and has the experience to ensure the jobs are done right. The pandemic posed lots of challenges for the job (techs that test Covid +, Ford parts distribution errors, etc.) but Kevin kept me informed on what was going on and went the extra mile to get the right parts and the job done. He even delivered the truck to my home in Rose City! What a guy. The other staff interactions were always pleasant and I never felt ignored or abused. If I ever need major work again, I'll see Kevin at Richardson. If I ever find I can upgrade to a new truck I believe I will visit Richardson first.
