Sofia Wine Bar is one of my favorite places in NYC. It was my go to for first dates back in the day when I was still single and is actually where I met my now husband on our first blind date. We still go back every single year on the anniversary of our first date. The food, the wine and the staff are all absolutely outstanding. When my husband and I decided to elope this year, I immediately emailed the owner Leo who put me in touch with the Manager Freddy. Freddy went out of his way to make sure we had a table to celebrate our wedding dinner with our two best friends (who also had their first date at Sofia’s). Freddy went above and beyond to make my wedding dinner so special. My husband and I love Sofia’s, a place that will forever be so special to us. The food is phenomenal, and you legit cannot go wrong ordering anything on their menu. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Such beautiful place! Also not hectic and loud, could definitely hang out in calm. Great drinks, delicious cheese platter! Would definitely be back to try the pizza sometime as they looked yummy! Last but not least, very sweet and friendly staff ^^

This is a great place to try wine and enjoy Italian food. We had pizza and was amazing. It's off the tourist track so felt like a locals place. Very small and cozy.
