I requested a book thru BCCLS last night and the book was ready for pick up this morning. Library is very neat and clean, it smells new, well, it was renovated not too long ago 🙂. The sitting area looks very inviting. Staff is friendly and helpful. 👍

Null Plus One

The Oakland Public Library has a large comprehensive index. It has a children's section, an adult's section, and they are even developing a young-adult section! Computers are available in the children's section. Furthermore, many events, such as book clubs, musical lessons, and robot building, are available. It even offers reading logs in the children's section! In the adult's section, there are many tables and provided outlets on tables to charge your device. The adult's section also has two floors and has an extremely organized collection. I personally recommend this library to anyone nearby!

What a fabulous library! The programs reach all ages and varied interests, the newly renovated room is a dream, the ongoing renovations are coming along nicely, the staff are personable and helpful, and it’s what a library should be: on the quiet side so people can concentrate on their work/project/reading. We are looking forward to concerts, especially those using the library’s grand piano.

This is a two floor library and recently they are doing the remodeling, but the staffs are very nice to accormodate what i need. thank you all very much.
