Enjoy it here. 55+ only. Owners are super nice! Reasonable rates. Small laundry (pay) onsite, bonus!! They decorated for Christmas this year, very lovely! Resident duck, lives in the pond behind the owners house. I call it Quackles. They also have showers available, if needed.

Oh wow! What a nice little place to stop for the night. So relaxing and clean. Owners talked with us for a bit. Very nice folks. We will be back when in the area

We stopped into Augies World Campground RV Park this morning to use the dump station there. After we paid and were done I got stuck in some loose sand when I turned to sharply with my 4x2 pick-up and Travel Trailer. James and his wife were on their way out but noticed our predicament. They could not have been nicer or more helpful. After getting out my shovel and James bringing over some lumber and his own truck we finally got my truck unstuck and then the travel trailer. James and his wife spent 2 hours helping us. I offered money but James flatly refused stating that "this is what we are supposed to do, we help people" Augies was damaged severely in a hurricane and is in the process of being rebuilt. When it's done it will be beautiful, James has a great layout. Even now, Augies is taking reservations with spots available, You won't find nicer more helpful campground hosts or owners anywhere.

My family and I could not of asked for a better place to stay for the week! We stayed at the campsite and all our needs were met. The first day there the owner came to talk to us personally and helped us make a fire after it was raining all night. The showers and bathrooms were VERY well kept. I have never seen a campsite bathroom so clean. It was also handicap accessible. The water stayed warm and there was no need to keep pusing a timed button to get the water like there is at most campsites. The owner was very kind and helpful. He provided us with many insights on best places to visit. We did not find it a very long drive to anything we wanted to see. I'm not sure why some are saying he watches your every move? He was on the campground throughout the day making improvements to the place and putting in more RV sites not watching us? Before checking out this campsite we checked out other campsites and found that this one was the least expensive (75$) for three days. The other ones (such as pine lake lodge) were much more expensive and crowded and dirty. Overall, we had a great time and will most definatley make our way back there.

Augie's allow small dogs. The rates are on the website. They also list the rules for keeping pets in and around the park. I would contact them about it in their online form if you're still not sure.
