Been trying to reach the owners of this team for a full refund due to the covid-19 pandemic. No answer as usual. As a business owner there need to be multiple ways to contact the said owner. This is VERY unprofessional and disgusting to say the least. I will continue to reach out for my refund until I reach someone, I will keep you updated!

BEWARE - My personal advice is to feel the team out and show up to practices before completing paperwork and paying the dues. Our experience with the Bayside Raiders was less than pleasant. For starters the head coach for the peewees, Tony, who is also the president of the Raiders is barely present during practices and special events such as opening day and award ceremonies. There were promises that were made and not kept, for example busing to games, that never happened but was supposedly included as part of our registration fees and was also supposed to be deducted from the fundraising we did for raiders day. There was a huge lack of communication as well, there were times when the practices were cancelled and we weren't informed. On other occasions there parents threatening each other during games and arguments among the coaches. There's a lack of leadership, organization and communication with the Raiders team. When we expressed our dissatisfaction and asked for issues to be addressed, we were brushed off and told it was a volunteer based program and if we weren't happy we should become more involved. We were at every practice and every game providing water, food and supplies for each event. We were also told that the issues existed because our kids didn't have heart enough to play. We wanted our son released from the program at the end of the season because we felt there wasn't much room for him to grow within a stagnant organization. The first time we requested a release we were told simply that the Raiders do not provide releases (although there is a release policy in the manual). We were dragged along the release process for 4 months. During this time we were falsely accused of breaking bylaws- we were accused being recruited by another team, we were accused of practicing with another team, none of these things happened. This hindered our son's ability to practice. We were asked for paperwork and complied with all request and our son's release was denied. Our emails, texts and calls were ignored for weeks. We got other presidents involved and even the commissioner involved and nothing was done. The team is only as good as it's leadership, and when the leader is absent the team will never grow.
