OK let’s be clear this is one if not the better place for breakfast around Bryant park. However, it is unfortunate that one bad experience can spoil long acquired reputation and this is more a message to management rather than to discourage customers. On a busy Monday morning at 9am I ordered soft boiled eggs: they came cold and in a plastic cup not fit for eggs. Attention to service would require to go in the kitchen rinse out a proper egg cup and bring back hot eggs: that did not happen: no more egg cup, we are busy bla bla bla. Other than that previous breakfast (4 previous experiences ) were very descent and friendly. Please pay attention to keeping level of service even when going through rush hours. Thanks!.

My first time back in NY for 2 years. Was excited to come to this restaurant as it was always a favorite. I was very disappointed. Service was painfully slow and plate was dirty. Guy who served me was clueless about the menu. Oat milk for coffee was an extra $0.90.
