Man, after riding the Mississippi river road all day a couple of cold Blue Moon beers Under the Hill sure hit the spot.

I love a good, AUTHENTIC dive bar and this place is the real deal. Bartender did not waste my time when I asked for an Old Fashioned - let me know they didn’t have the ingredients and gave me a liberal pour on a 7&7. Local band Perry Mason were good, too. Places like this make road trips worth it, even with the price of gas what it is.

I mean this with all do respect to the rest of Mississippi; this bar is my favorite place in the entire state. The Staff was incredibly nice, the place was clean and littered with things to look at. The atmosphere is wonderful, & you can’t beat live music or that view of the river from the entrance. If you’re in the area (& 21+), check this place out

Cool old saloon, no draft beer (April 2021) but decent selection of bottles & cans. Historical items on the walls to check out, including $ bills on the ceiling from customers.
