Dr Levit, is not only an incredible dermatologist but also a knowledgeable doctor with a lot of compassion! My three kids, husband and myself had various issues and procedures with Dr Levit and he always reaches out to make sure everything is well. Plus, I have never been to an office with such incredible staff! From start to finish everyone is beyond pleasant, knowledgeable and caring.

The girl 10 years old loosing dramatically her hair, can Dr, LEVIT help?

yes. need to bring the blood tests to see what the reason is. It sounds like Alopecia Areata. There are some studies going on now at Columbia University and u can find the info online or u can come and we can examine her. Once we see the problem we can discuss the treatment options. Best of luck and any of our doctors are licensed and capable of helping you so do not need to wait long for an appointment. We try to fit in cases like this ASAP.

Does he practice with children?

Yes. As long as it is skin hair or nail issue Dr. Levit and his staff is board certified to treat these conditions. If you look online you may find some youtube by him giving advice on skin rashes in children and how best to cope with them
