Excellent place to get away. My wife and I come here as often as possible to unwind. I highly recommend.

Well maintained. Tent-only camping, but also has a few cabins and a unique covered wagon! The covered wagon has a nicely kept porch that overlooks the woods, a mini fridge, outlets, a/c, and a heater. The wagon made for a wonderful retreat for winter "glamping" in Louisiana.

I can't say enough good things about Tunica Hills Campground. Ms. Brenda is so lovely, the camp dogs are adorable and friendly, the small A-frame cabin we stayed in was the perfect combination of rustic and resourceful, and the grounds were gorgeous. My husband, two dogs, and I spent a long weekend for my birthday last month, and we loved it so much that we sold my brother and his girlfriend on coming down from NJ to stay a week later! Living in Baton Rouge, I love how someplace so close feels so remote and lovely. We've definitely found our family camping tradition spot, and I can't wait to go back and stay in all different seasons!

My husband, mother-in-law, my two small kids and I stayed at the 2 bedroom cabin recently. It has the potential to be very nice. However, the smell when we walked into the cabin (you enter the kitchen area) smelled quite badly of greasy food cooking - and the curtain separating the kitchen from the 1st bedroom seemed to be saturated in it. Continuing through the bathroom into the 2nd bedroom, another very apparent odor was a mildew smell. The couch really really needs to be replaced - it's neither comfortable nor clean. If all of these things were fixed, we'd definitely stay there again and recommend it to our friends. The 2 beds were fine and the linens on the beds didn't smell bad, thank goodness. I expected more for paying $140+ per night. The woman who takes reservations and manages things was very nice.

We have Verizon and had really good service we stayed in a tent but the cabins are right there close to them
Yes you do
@legree when you were there with us.. we didn't walk down. They do have tent ca.ping in the woods behind the cabins we were in. Quite beautiful. They are close but the sites aren't all on top of each other either.
The big cabins and large A frame have parking right outside the cabins. If you stay in the small A frame you will be about 150-200 or so yards away from the parking area. They have wagons you can borrow to move your gear from the parking area to the cabin. You will not be able to see your vehicle from the small A frame.
No, the campground is in a deep, old forest with huge trees in steep ravines & ridges. The topography is fun to explore here, but the only place to fish in West Feliciana Parish is actually the Mississippi River ( when it isn’t in flood stage ). Lake Mary is an oxbow lake with good fishing a few miles from the campground in Mississippi.
All prices are on the website
You can't drive to the main campground. It is a short hike, and the manager has an all terrain golf cart to help you get your gear to the campsite. There are a couple sites in the front I think but I dunno if they allow RVs there or not.
