Malad Summit Southbound Rest Area

This rest area is a wonderful place for walk s just to take a break get out of the car and walk through the mini trails that are near this rest stop. The bathrooms are clean and there are vending machines at the building. Plenty of parking for big rigs and walking areas for your pets.

Always love this rest area but today it looked like it is going down hill. 6 empty toilet paper rolls but no toilet paper. Garbage was just being emptied. Then toilet paper was put it the room. A knob needs fixed to lock the door

There's a nice nature path which has a picnic table and benches along the path. There was a beautiful tree in fall colors when I visited in early October

Well kept rest area with plenty of room to get out and move around. Awesome having the trees to provide extra shade during the summer
