Lots of nature. We saw a Gar, heron, muskrat, butterflies, and lots of small fish on our paddle around the lake. The cave is also pretty incredible. Very peaceful place to paddle or swim

Beautiful area but it needs some TLC. Sad to see a park with so much litter. Step up you game TN and clean up your parks because the beauty and scenery are worth it!

Truly one of the most beautiful places in the US I love it there. Great swimming, hiking, canoeing, camping. Never get bored

The Nickajack cave wildlife refugee is a little surprise hidden spot with a fantastic view of the Nickajack dam lake and the Nickajack cave, and the entirely lake hill scenery. From a parking spot what is very accessible, you have a five minute walk over a wooden walkway to the cave. When you reach the endpoint of the walkway, you have a free overview over the cave and the lake. The cave itself is locked off for people with boats and you cannot walk into the cave. The cave itself is underwater, but before the Nickajack dam was installed, it was an entirely dry cave. While you walk over the wooden walkway, you also will pass a small waterfall with a great rough rock formation. The waterfall only works during wet weather and in the winter. Great rock formations and smalls spots with access to the lake for fishing or swimming.
