I had ICL done on both eyes. My regular optometrist highly recommended Dr. Koster. I had a longer recovery time than usual on my first eye, which was frustrating, but Dr. Koster and team (who are great) worked with me and I was patient and just had my second eye down and it is phenomenally unreal to live without glasses or contacts! Totally a different world!

Getting eye surgery is not something I wanted just anyone to do. I have a lot of allergies and am sensitive to medications so my eye doctor referred me to Dr. Koster. I'm so glad he did. Having a doctor who is personable, willing to understandably explain my cataract surgery, take the time to answer all my questions without rushing me, having the experience and knowledge of the latest medical technology all in one person is hard to find. In addition, all of his staff including Dr. Pagano, Debra and Genesis to name a few, went out of their way to make sure I was fully informed and supported so I knew everything was taken care of and I didn't have to worry about a thing. The procedure and process were painless. I cannot say enough praises for Dr. Koster and the NY Vision Group--Murray Street Office. I went from not being able to see much at all with both my eyes to about 20/25. It's like getting a new pair of eyes! Thank you all so much!

I did my Lasik eye surgery here, it was affordable, had a speedy recovery, and the doctors were great!

GM.You can have the procedure performed without sedation and return home alone. About 7% patients have the procedure this way. the procedure is about 8 minutes long and we talk you through it. HK
Hello Elmer. There are a quite a few eye surgeries that are available for vision correction, all with different risk profiles. If you are interested in surgical options, it is best to make an appointment at one of our locations to visit with a doctor, who can go into which procedure, if any, is right for you. FYI: LASIK (the most common laser correction surgery) is FDA approved for patients 18 years or older.
