Battery Park Vision easily gets the gold medal for Covid extremism. I arrived at my appointment double masked and fully vaccinated (including booster shot). However, this was not enough for the BPV staff, who maniacally insisted that I replace my masks—which I had only put on literally seconds earlier—with one their “dry” masks. Of course, the staff did not extend the same courtesy to me; not one of the employees—who were all only single masked--put on a new “dry” mask when I entered. Further, their Covid policies prohibit patients from using their bathroom, a true hardship for a business located in the far SW corner of Manhattan. If you have ever wondered what is the opposite of a large indoor and mask free wedding in an area with low vaccination rates, the answer is Battery Park Vision. Neither approach to the pandemic is rational or (mentally) healthy.
