We went out as a small group. This was a first time for all of us. I thought the setting was really great. The building is this rustic old cabin on a lush green field. We were seated right away on a Friday evening. The staff was friendly and reasonably attentive. The app we had was huge. Salads were ...small but nice in presentation and the dressing was decent quality. Sides were ok. I had the smoked chops, my wife had the crab cakes and the other couple with us both had fried seafood. My chops were pretty good and the Red Eye sauce was good. The seafood was your typical breaded, deep fried seafood. The shrimp were a decent size and you got a decent amount for the money. Crab cakes were a nice size - a little "fishy" and our group thought they were a little over cooked. For a small town restaurant, this place is definitely above the bar. Prices are decent enough that you can go on the regular yet it is a unique enough place that this can be a special occasions kind of place. This is a restaurant I would go to again and bring guests from out of town to.

Great Food and Atmosphere! Worth the drive! Our Marianna Mustang & Ford Club has enjoyed this restaurant several times. Highly Recommended!

4 of us dined at your restaurant tonight . After not eating for two and half months due to covid, it was a wonderful experience. Rebecca was our waitress and took such great care of us. Food was delicious.

Very disappointed with the waitress and the food! The rib eye was good but wasn't cooked as I ordered it the baked potato wasn't done and it wasn't hot, I ordered it loaded, the sour cream, butter, cheese, and bacon all came on the side, the potato wasn't hot enough to melt the butter or cheese. The waitress payed no attention we ate half our meal with nothing to drink when she finally got my refill she brought it in a Togo cup and wanted to know if we saved room for dessert and gave us our check. I was charged $3.50 for a spoon of slaw on my salad. I expected better service and better quality especially when I'm paying $35.00 for a meal. They weren't busy and they had plenty of servers so not having enough employees wasn't the problem. They have new owners I only saw 2 waitresses that worked with the previous owners. Although I wasn't happy with the service or the food I didn't complain or send it back. Easy solution it will be a long time before we go back if ever! Definitely not the same pond house it used to be.

Delicious, family environment, friendly staff
Yes, gift cards are available for purchase during normal business hours. If you are out of town and need a card mailed feel free to call and leave a message.
The Pond House was built as a restaurant 30 years ago this October by the Jones family. Designed to look like a large log cabin with exposed rafters. The hours since opening have been Thursday, Friday and Saturday for dinner.
We don't take a reservation or call ahead but we do like to have a heads up if you are bringing a large group. Tables are sat as people arrive so we don't guarantee a time but we do strive to get everyone enjoying their meals as swiftly as possible.
They open at 6 pm on Thursday and 5 pm on Friday and Saturday. They close at 9 PM each night
