Puddle jumper [ puhd-l-juhm-per ] (plural puddle jumpers) a light plane, especially one traveling only short distances or making many stops (from puddle to puddle). A Casual lakeside dining facility with a fully stocked bar, fresh seafood and delicious traditional fares. Great little spot on Lake Dora to watch seaplanes in action. Tavares bills itself as "America's Seaplane City". Surprisingly great service, wine and food, when you anticipate 'just another burger joint'. Choose between indoor and outdoor seating. We will definitely return! Thank you Erick Vazquez (manager) for stopping by our table and asking "was everything up to your expectations?".

Great little spot! Basically on the water at Lake Dora. Service and food were good! View, even better! Nate was my bartender, did a wonderful job! I had the Bees Knees Burger. Quite the concoction, bacon and jam, very good! Would recommend!

Great place to watch some seaplane action. Views of water and area are beautiful. We had different burgers and they were huge and delicious. The pork rinds are a must if you like that sort of thing. Onion rings, fries and pretzel sticks with beer cheese were also really good. The service was very good but like most places now days they were spread thin. The wait on a Sunday lunch time was around 20 minutes to get seated. Definitely worth it. We'll go back. Band wad really good too.

My experience with Puddle Jumpers has been nothing but fantastic. The food is seriously good; I can't get over all the great options they have. The service is great also, especially Angela. She has been amazing!! Very, very helpful & accommodating. She knows what she's doing & she does her job well. Great place!
