Quiet place to study and print. Staff is always nice and helpful

This is supposed to be a quiet area to study, but there is people chatting like this is a cafeteria and nobody says anything. I come here because I have kids at home, but honestly here is worst.

You don't want to go here if you are not a CUNY student. I was shunned by the security even after showing my out-of-state school ID. I am yet to find a library other than this one that prohibits entrance for students from other educational institutions. I realize there are security issues but the policy should be accommodating for certain scenarios. Having said that, go to the nearby Battery Park Public Library to get stuff done.

It supposed to be quiet steady area, people always talk, some people literally just come to talk there about their lives to their friends, boy friends or girlfriends. It is loud most of the time. People sitting and just playing music from their phones when others try to study. Security never does anything about it, not even during the finals. It’s a horror like you are in the club not library. Shame. Maybe if BMCC keep library quiet, then maybe their graduation rate would improve. For some people this is the only place to study. It is discouraging.
