Hi Dominique, there are various options for relaxation or sedation dentistry and we have an anesthesiologist available for patients who require IV sedation or general anesthesia. Local anesthesia is used in combination with relaxation or sedation dentistry, however general anesthesia is not usually necessary for wisdom tooth removal.
