The public part of the international terminal is quite boring... probably the less attractive terminal I've seen so far. While waiting for checking you don't have many options... don't be there too much in advance ! Also shuttle between car rental center and international terminal is quite a roller-coaster. AirTrain should be an option to consider

Very busy airport. Make sure you have ample amount of time to go through security (for domestic especially). Can feel the culture of Atlanta within the airport itself. Also, the architecture is very good and they have nice stores inside.

No, Testing is not required. But many people continue to wear mask. And use hand sanitizer.
Allow 2 hours domestic, 3 international.
It can be used for departures, but if any other airline but delta you have to have your boarding pass and not be checking a bag
You can get directly to the entrance door if someone takes you (Taxi, Uber or Shuttle). If you go in your own car you should look for a parking lot. You can also take the "MARTA" Train and it takes you from Atlanta to the National departures terminal. If you go to the international, very close there is a free Shuttle service that takes you from the national exit to the international
