My daughter had fun but we have been to less pricey and just as good (if not better) smaller city museums without employees teaching liberal agenda to kids.

Great place for kids. I wished they served cocktails 😄😄. It's only a joke, calm down.

This is a pretty awesome place for pre- school to middle aged kids, there were even some one year olds there that were able to enjoy an activity. The best part is that the kids ate learning all while having fun. I went with my daughters kindergarten class and it was a blast. You might want to grab a bite to eat before going, also stop but the amazing gift shop

We went last August, my children were 4 and 1. I wasn't impressed with it, especially after loving the aquarium. I definitely expected there to be more. However, my kids enjoyed it, so I consider that a win.
I was irritated as well when we went for the first time. But I guess for kids it is learning something about forces/different mediums (water, sand) or the what if concept visualized. And it's all done playfully and age appropriate. Whereas the places called "indoor playground" are usually toys like cars, cushions and playhouses. I get your point. If your kid is old enough just bring them to the regular museum maybe? 😊
I believe 2nd Tuesday of the month. Visit their website.
We just went last week and they charged the four of us the same price...even our 2 year old 😔$15.95 for each ticket. I think you can get tickets online for $12.95.
Its once a month on Tuesday. The website will tell you when the next one is.
I saw a sign posted for a Nursing room.
You can book tickets at the museum online on their website. And if a session isn't sold out, you can buy them in-store. If you're asking about getting books, the museum store sells a small selection of children's books.
I would not say that it's limited but the climbing feature has been closed down. The children still have everything else accessible.
There are 3 floors. The third is smaller and the are some craft activities on there.
Media is unsafe to watch. Too much fear for no reason making people crazy.
Yes 2 hours was perfect for our kids (2 and 5). They had enough time to play and interact with everything at the museum.
It's not that big at all. It's two floors, but essentially it's an oversized playground/learning center. You could take however long you wanted...our kids loved it and we only stayed for a few hours.
If around 15 dollars
$15.95-$18.95 dependiendo de que dia vas. Los niños menores de un año son gratis. https://childrensmuseumatlanta.org/plan-your-visit/prices-and-hours/
The family pass is $130 and it's for two named adults and any four children. https://childrensmuseumatlanta.org/membership-packages/
I think some of you are referring to the Target sponsored Second Tuedays once a month (free admission). I heard that was discontinued and I haven’t seen it advertised since sometime in 2018. Anyway it’s not listed in their website anymore.
12.95 I believe. They close by 4p daily.
If you have a membership there is a discount. Your invited guest get in free of charge even if you dont have a membership
Sounds like it's a day pass to come go as you please
Yes, the last one was the beginning of March. They no longer have any free days.
It's $18.95 a person. I was just there 2 weeks ago. Adults and kids are the same price. And to the reviewer who answered $30 to $40 you are thinking about the aquarium. Those are the aquarium prices.
There is so much for her age to take in that younger children cannot because they are not proficient readers! It is an engaging place for that age especially in the upstairs science tech area and some of the elaborate contraptions as well as the traveling exhibit. What kid at 10 doesnt like climbing, firing rockets, playing in tree houses, digging in moon sand, running a restaurant, driving robots, exploring the human body in detail on tablets, and scientists doing fun experiments. I took my neighbors 9 year old and he LOVED it (we stayed for 4+ hours and he was never bored). If she went every month she might outgrow it, but not if its a special treat every once in awhile. The remodel made a huge difference too. Trust me she will have a ball. Especially if you are engaging in the activities with her and learning together.
One adult and one child is $89 for the year. 2 adults and up to 4 children is $129. Your membership also gets you half price admission at any of the partner institutions (a whole bunch of museums across the country).
Yes it's great for a younger child's (under 5) birthday party
I would say 2 to 8 because they do have appropriate activities for them to interact with
I usually park at the Georgia Aquarium parking lot. The walk to the children's museum is not that far
That exhibit has now been replaced, but all the special exhibits are always included in the cost of admission.
