In response to Paul Nuccio( hope I spelled your last name correctly!) I agree 100% about Mike. He was fun,helpful, interested and interesting. I looked forward to our wide ranging chats♡ I hadn't been there in a few months; when I went a couple of weeks ago I was very disappointed to find he'd been let go for an absurd reason imho. Due to the death of my wife I was forced to donate many boxes of knickknacks that she had collected through the years. A lot of these things were highly collectible and worth money but I could not deal with them or keep them. I was shocked when the Salvation Army refused to take any of my stuff! And then the attitude! From the truck driver to the cashier everyone was rude didn’t even bother to look at me. I took my stuff to the SPCA thrift shop in Saugerties. They were grateful.

I like to donate good and reasonably valued items but unfortunately often I’am told that they no longer accept items and wouldn’t tell me when they will be accepting. It is really frustrating experience with Ulster Avenue Store. Most of the time time they do not answer the phone and when you take the items to the store we are turned away with the same answer each time.
