I was foolish & sent my beautiful 14 year old daughter to the mall, with my credit card in hand. In a moment of bad luck, she wandered into this store & bought a tube of ‘concealer’ cream for $30 ( she has perfect skin…nothing to conceal.)…they took her money anyhow. When she got home, her mom told her to stay out of that store, you can buy concealer for $3 at a half dozen other stores right there in that mall. When we sent her back, they tripped her up by saying she needs that same credit card to refund. We sent her back again with the card…and they played her for the inexperienced 14 year old that she is, and gave her a store gift card…NOT a refund as she was instructed to get. She came home & was in big trouble again. My wife went back & the woman at the counter argued for 15min about how we can’t have a refund, we need to keep the gift card - we don’t want this stupid gift card. I see that the mgr responds to any comments here, let’s watch & see if they say “bring us the gift card, we will refund the money as you requested.” This is you chance to step up & be honorable sephora mgr..
