So wife and I ordered over the phone. Went to business to pick up our order. Place was filthy dirty, fire hazard in the eat in area, empty cardboard boxes laying everywhere. Oh wait they cut these boxes up and put a piece of cardboard in the bottom of the bag your order is in….so we get home (17 mile drive) open up are food and it was not impressive to say the least. No flavor, over cooked, no veggies in the fried rice! We paid 30 dollars for our meals and couldnt eat it ! Health Department needs to shut that place down ! Whatever you do, dont waste your money there ! If fuel wasnt so high I would have taken the food back and demanded our money returned !

I've been eating here for years. I was very satisfied with the fresh food and good service. Will keep coming back

Kids and I get take out from China Star every once in a while and we're never disappointed. It's not a pretty place nor probably the cleanest but we've never had an issue and enjoy the food.

So yes, I would drive the 12 miles to New Comerstown for Chinese food again. I was surprised that a little girl took my order, no kidding, maybe 5 years old, was very professional and when I said have a nice day, she said thank you and you too sir. But the real surprise was the shrimp Kung pao! Full sized shrimp and you'd expect maybe 5 or 6 in an order right? I stopped counting at 12 and still had quite a few to go. The food was still hot when we got home and I mean hot as in blow on it to eat it. Tasty! I've already spread the word. China Star, New Comerstown, 5 stars!
