The rooms are nice. The beds too soft. I literally sunk into the mattress. No in room fridge or ice available. There is a community fridge outside. No air-conditioning which is a problem before night fall. The location is great. Close to the national park. Plenty of restaurants within 5 miles. Hosts are very nice. If you wish to drink liquor, buy it before arriving. No stores sell anything but beer or wine for miles.

Excellent customer service! When I called to make a reservation during a heat wave, the person on the phone recommended a few other hotels that had A/C, really helped our family make a good decision. Looking forward to staying with Totem Trail when it cools off a bit!

The owners are a couple who also manage the property, the wife is one of the nicest, sweetest people I’ve ever talked to!! This place is a great option if you are looking for a stay in the area.

I can't say enough good things about this motel, property and owners!! I have been here quite a few times, but not much over the last decade. While much has changed in the area, Totem Trails Motel is as wonderful as ever. Clean rooms that smell fresh; the nicest and most accomodating owners; affordable rates and a lovely property that has always felt a bit extraordinary/special/magical to me. I love the gazebo outdoor seating area that has been added since I've last visited, and the WiFi worked just fine for us on Tmobile. It is so quiet at night on the property, and on a clear night, the stars are breathtaking. It is such a convenient location to stay for anyone with plans in the North Cascades or even a day trip into Mazama or Winthrop. Highly recommend.
