First time in the Ferndale store and third time at Vision Plus. (First 2 times I bought my glasses out of my own pocket and both pairs where not good at all. Could not see anything. When I went back I was told I have to adjust to them and when I gave it time and went back in they told me the warranty had expired. This time I went in because of my insurance) Granted it was in Feburary 2020 when I had my eye exam and then Covid-19 (CCP-Virus) shut everything down. So when I got my new trifocal glasses it was through the closed gate. When I got them home my world was blurry/fuzzy and I felt like I was walking around in a bubble. I work with the vulnerable community and when I got the chance to get back into the store to get the glasses adjusted it was past the lens warranty but the gal who was helping me talked to her boss(?) and the other lady (boss?) came out and talked to me and said that she would honor the warranty because of the Covid-19. She did a great job fitting the glasses to fit me and took care of the bubble effect but wanted me to try the glasses for 5 days and she would definitely call me to find out how things were and see if the blurry/fuzziness would somehow get better(?). So were my eyes supposed to adjust to the blurry/fuzziness and live without being able to see very well or were the glasses going to somehow fix themselves to the correct script? I never received the call so I had to go back in and find out what I needed to do. Still cannot see or read very good through them. Wish I could go to my original ophthalmologist. The lenses were perfect everytime the fist time. Never a problem with the vision.

It is not an underestimate for me too say I love the folks who work at Vision plus! Wednesday in the middle of my work day I broke my frames. I walked in cold at lunch time and was greeted with smiles. When I showed them my glasses they immediately understood my pain. Without my glasses I am useless at work. I am also uninsured and don't have a lot of extra $$. They took my broken glasses, with unusually shaped lenses, to try to fit then into a "frame from the back" , a long shot at best . I had bought some generic glasses next door so I could get through the afternoon at work. In less than 20 minutes they called and "said the had found a very nice frame, that was super affordable, and they thought I would like it, did I want to come see it before they put my frames in it? I told them that if they thought I would like it, to just do it and I would be in as soon as I could to pick them up. And I love them, they are ones I would have picked for myself. Talk about caring service!! They so easily could have just said oh that's bad you need to pick out some new expensive frames. It was not my first time there and every time I go there the service is just like this. Love you guys, hope the boss reads this. The people on the front lines make or break a business!

Everything about Vision + is wonderful!!!! Dr. Walker is personable, thorough and smart. The receptionists are warm and knowledgable about my insurance plan and the gals who help me pick out my glasses, always direct me to something that is comfortable and looks good. Cindy and John
