Not egregiously bad care; but, really barely adequate. Part of a large conglomerate of caregivers that relies on the Hopkins name. Been a patient for several years and am finally looking elsewhere. You cannot reach your doctor, even when in pain and even if your needs are urgent, they do not even bother to try and work in a brief video visit for several weeks. You would be better off using an Urgent Care as your primary doctor--seriously. Everything goes through the main Hopkins switchboard or through the "MyChart" email portal where responses are slow. What do you do when you do not have a life threatening emergency; but, you need to see someone fairly soon, yet cannot afford the annual fees of a concierge practice? And if you have an urgent referral to a Hopkins specialist, there is no effort by this primary care office to get you in to see the specialist any sooner. The prices they charge my insurance company are significantly higher than others and I have caught them in a few significant overcharging errors. After Dr. Tiffany Hall left, apparently most of the compassion and warmth left with her and little remains at this location. See the nurse practitioners...you can see them more quickly, they are more personable, they take time to answer questions and I think they have a more holistic and thorough bedside manner. Still looking for a new practice, though.

Followed all the directions on line from them regarding COVID reporting because I wanted to know if I needed Paxlovid. ABSOUTELY NO adequate response after emailing and calling twice! Complete failure of this group.

I have been seeing my PCP here for 10 years and am very pleased with my doctor (and any other M.D. I have seen at this practice). However, it is getting harder and harder to get a timely appointment or even a call back from a nurse. I recently called to ask my medical team a question for a non-life threatening urgent matter and was told a message marked as high-priority would be sent to a nurse who would then contact me. Its been over 24-hours and still no callback... ended up just going to urgent care.

It is absolutely impossible to get appointments with the doctors! Let me put it out there that you can’t schedule your annual check in a timely manner wit this horrid place unless one schedules it at least 12 months in advance! We have been with the practice for several years and the apathetic staff and a mess of their garbage system is not improving, in fact it is getting worse. On very few occasions when we actually needed to see a doctor we had to wait for several months! We end up going on all these occasions to the emergency clinics for medical care that did not take weeks and months of wait. Two years ago I have had an acute medical situation and the earliest I was able to see the doctor was a month after my phone call!!!! If you have the misfortune of having the physician leave the practice then the old patients are treated as " new patience" and you have to wait for another 6-8 months to "establish care"! an absolute irresponsible and and abusive behavior towards patients. On top of that they will set you up with the youngest GP in the practice. It is absolutely preposterous that a teaching medical institution such as Hopkins will call this abusive situation a standard of care! If you need to see a doctor within 3-6 month this is not a practice for you. This one does not treat patients as human beings.
