Amazing hotel from check-in to departing. We checked in, and they had a doggy welcoming gift bag our dog enjoyed! This hotel is very dog friendly; out of the seven dog-friendly hotels we've stayed in, this one was the best. The bar downstairs with the welcome drink sets the tone for the stay and wonderful craft cocktails you must try! The room was cozy and clean; housekeeping delivered clean towels daily and cleaned the room when requested. The internet and office center were reliable, clean, and great. The fitness room was great; I used their free Pelaton account to get a good workout. The food downstairs in the lobby and upstairs on the rooftop was wonderful! Our favorites include the Sourdough French Toast, Lettuce Bowl, and the Aviation cocktail! The staff was friendly and helpful and made this a great stay!

My favorite part was the chess set in the lobby and the avocado mouse, get it trust me. The lobby, store, and bar are lovely. However, it all stops there. My boyfriend and I intended to stay in his van for a wedding. However a friend treated us to two nights at the SCP. Walking in, you are inspired by the lovely surroundings. Although the fire place going when it’s summer is an odd thing. The place is trying to profit off of going green. The room was dirty, never serviced the next day and no notice that it wouldn’t be. I couldn’t sleep either night because you can hear everything. The sound machine is too loud to play. They allow dogs which left an interesting smell in the hallway. In the workout room the smallest weight was 20 lbs. How about some 15s or 10s? It’s a skip, it’s over priced. Check out the lobby for drinks and move along.

What to do in Southern Oregon

The SCP was a haven right in the middle of downtown. The location is pristine the two restaurants and bar are fantastic. The service was wonderful. While the beds are very comfortable I would suggest bringing your own pillow if you like fluffy pillows but that is a minor issue. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the amenities including the library and board game room. The location was also perfect; only 12 minutes from Smith Rock, 30 minutes from our favorite little Western town Sisters, and 20 minutes from Bend. We will definitely look here next time we stay in Redmond!

The mattress and pillows were very firm. It was difficult for my husband and I to sleep and I woke up in pain every morning. It is a trendy place, very cute, and clever. Great location as well. I rated it a 1 star because I stay in a hotel to sleep.
