I asked if they give food to people that don’t live in the area that are just passing through. She said we’ve already spoke. I said no we have not. Then she explained that they were not a food pantry that they were a food bank. To begin with she was very rude.

Anyone can come to the Blue Ridge Food Bank, but it is a one time service only. We supply the food pantries you also get a referral to a pantry while you're here along with a box of canned goods you can come between the hours of 8:30 and 3 Monday through Friday
