About 50 parking spots, bathroom is functional, and the towpath is a short walk to the northeast. Nice shade from the trees to keep your vehicle from sun exposure.

Plenty of safe parking adjacent to the Tow Path and river. easy access just outside the beltway, The distance to the tavern north is a very nice walk with lots to view.

Car overnight. If it's unoccupied. I put a sign in window. Smile on camera and then quick note. Will return. Battery died. Or car trouble. Getting in am. Just to be safe. Do u need it. Probably not. But I think if park po comes by they are good peeps and will also keep a eye on it. Short answer. It's not harpers ferry VA where if you leave it for 5 min they take it away. Carderock is full of Good peeps
