Performed here twice, and somehow didn't get heckled once. Surpassed expectations. 5 stars

Lovely outdoor performance/arts space in a historic building that burned and lost it's roof. Frederick Arts Council rehabbed the space after the fire, but with no roof. Bring an umbrella if there is a chance of rain. Pro tip: Bring a stadium chair if you are attending a performance, seating is tiered steps, hard and uncomfortable (the reason I deducted one star).

Great night w Naked Sun! Very cool!

Unique and creative. The sound is excellent so good you don't need a ticket. If you purchase a ticket you get to see and hear. Your seat a bleacher without a back. It's worth going. Finding ways for everyone to benefit a challenge.

If it is raining, events are usually cancelled (it is an open air facility). I believe the decision on that usually comes from the Frederick Council for the Arts.
Some events (comedy nights, concerts, Patsy Cline musical) include a bar with beer/wine sales. Our liquor license may not travel to a rain relocation however. You cannot bring beer/alcoholic beverages in, but you can carry in food or soft drinks/water bottles.
Yes as Mr. Koronet said, well-behaved dogs are permitted. They put out water bowls by the entrances.
Folding chairs are allowed if they do not block the view of those on bottom level of bleachers. There is some space near the sculpture for folding or wheelchairs.
Yes, it is non smoking.
