Silas First Baptist Church is just that; probably one of the first churches that was started after the old testament was written. My family and I attended for about 20 minutes before not feeling welcome This church is not a LGBTQ family friendly church. They made this know by making comments about Disney v/s Florida. Saying how 'Disney is trying to influence the kids that visit there to have alternative lifestyles' . These words came out of the pastors own mouth. I can't tell people what to believe, God is a God of free will and an all Loving God, there is no sin greater than the next. Thier teachings are reflective of their aged congregation of roughly 20-25 attendees if that, including my family of 4 that walked out. It's a very telling sign of why churches are dying with their members. It was good to hear the old hymms and to see people with tambourines. The getleman at the door was very nice and it's located in a nice area/neighborhood. I have a lot more I want to say about this but I'm just going to take it to God in prayer and Facebook too!
