Great place to stop right off of I95. Called for a site for the night and the owner was very kind and stayed late to get us to our site. Site was level we were able to pull in sleep and quickly get back on the road. Rate was very affordable!

This is a very quiet very dark campground. I expected Bigfoot to pop out. Not a lot of people walk around. It's deliciously spooky. Amazing cell service

Wow…. Just left campground. Trying to maneuver graveled one lane road with deep ruts caused by rain erosion was very challenging. The manager out walking his dog was extremely nasty and unhelpful.

Yes, we just spoke on the telephone. Aquia Pines is open all year and has campsites for tenters as well as camping vehicles (travel trailers, motor homes, ...) Hope to see you all soon! Wild Run Brewing Company is located in the campground office, and currently we have 8 beers on tap, btw.

Is this place pet friendly?

Debbie Singer | Oct 12, 2021
Aquia Pines Camp Resort | Oct 12, 2021

Our pet policy is that all pets must be on a leash, and the owner has to be on the other end of the leash (which means no leashes tied to picnic tables or trees...) Yes we have a dog park, and yes my son has a dog, which rides around with me on the John Deere gator. This dog is not the owner's, but the owner's son's dog.

I have a 33ft. Pull behind camper, are your sights pull thru and are they all nicely wooded like in the pictures?

Jay Zyduck | Oct 12, 2021
Aquia Pines Camp Resort | Oct 12, 2021

We have campsites in mature (80 year old) trees, and campsites in a more open area with many 20 year old trees. How many nights did you wish to stay? Most non-tent campsites are pull thru.

Do you offer long term my husband does construction work and will be in the area for a couple years.

Shirley Ferguson | Oct 12, 2020
Aquia Pines Camp Resort | Oct 12, 2020

Good morning Shirley. Aquia Pines has all sorts of rates for different lengths of stay. We will need to know what size and type of camper you have, how many people, and when you might arrive. It is best to call us as we have very few sites available. 540-659-3447

Is there a monthly amount?

Brandon Wilburn | Oct 12, 2020
Aquia Pines Camp Resort | Oct 12, 2020

There is no 'monthly' rental as all rates are daily rates. We have found that campers do not spend exactly a month here. More typical is 25 days, or 42 days, for instance, but seldom exactly 30 days. This is why we always quote a daily rate.

Is there cable on site in this campground

Bill Banks | Oct 13, 2019
Aquia Pines Camp Resort | Oct 13, 2019

Generally, no, we do not offer Cable TV. A year or so ago, Aquia Pines 'beefed up' the WiFi system to allow campers to stream TV online, as the Cable TV system was no longer being satisfactorily serviced by our Cable provider.

Tried calling several times & double/triple checked the number I was dialing to be sure it was correct & the # from the website rings two times and then changes to a busy signal everytime I call. Is there a better number or way to make a reservation

Lacey Tabor | Oct 13, 2018
Everett Lovell | Oct 13, 2019

Sometimes, if all three phones lines are busy, the fourth caller to our phone rolls over in a strange manner to 'no where.' Normally three phone lines work for the business.
