If there were other Methadone Clinic with better ratings I wouldn't even support my loved one to go here but apparently they are all just as bad from the ratings. We transferred from the clinic in SE, DC and as rough as the neighborhood was on that end- their staff, counselors and doctors really cared and took the time to meet with you frequently if not daily. So don't judge a book by it's cover, unfortunately my insurance no longer covered it so we had to move to a clinic that did. It took almost a full month to get my loved one an intake and the only reason someone got back to her was because I had to ask for the director. She is on her 3rd week and yet has not met her counselor nor has an idea who they are. Boundaries and confidentiality seems to be an issue since a receptionist there will talk about peoples usage in a negative way amongst her peers at the front desk and the clients can hear it all. Let's not talk about Equitability because that's definitely not practiced there, my pregnant loved one that uses the bathroom before heading out to this clinic (due to the driving distance) is expect to provide a urine test as soon as she comes in on the day of testing and when ask for a mouth swap was told they ran out. So instead had to accept receiving DNT (did not test) which if she was there under probation or court order could affect her, thank God it's voluntary. With the swaps not being readily available it makes you wonder if no one there does timely inventory to note that they are running out of essential things that your insurances or your out of pocket money pays for. I read reviews here as old as 5 years about peoples horrible experience and what's sad is that apparently nothing has really change. They have not followed any of recommendations that came from the other clinic and although my loved one had been practicing the "take home" dose in the other clinic for 2 months they didn't consider her progress and choose to start her start from scratch as if none of the efforts she worked towards in the other clinic mattered. That's like you switching doctor's because you are moving and the new doctor begins treatment that you had already surpassed and doesn't care to consider your progress and instead goes with their agenda. 3 weeks and I had to write this review, as a PRS I feel it's my obligation to inform others on what to expect and it's unfortunate that better options aren't out there. Regretfully, in order to keep alive or from being homeless you have to succumb to this type treatment environment. Where is the Dignity in that? Hence Dignity is one of the highlights on the Website...smh.

Such a great place! Call to schedule your orientation and meet with the doctor! Sometimes you have to wait a few days but don't give up they will help you to get on a stable dose without judging your mistakes! The process isn't hard and once you meet the criteria you get take homes instead of having to go dose daily. Check it out, stick it out because YOU DO MATTER & YOU ARE WORTH IT! WE DO RECOVER!

Honestly, if you’re actually serious about getting clean & putting the effort in you won’t have any problems. My counselor is David & he’s great, he seems as invested in my recovery as I am & always makes sure that all my requests & questions are handled & answered. The staff & nurses I interact with on a regular basis are all very sweet, friendly & helpful.
